If you're interested in improving the quality and capacity of clinical education and training, Innovate and Educate should be on your radar for March 2010!
The inaugural Innovate and Educate Conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from Thursday 11 March to Friday 12 March 2010.
The Conference is being organised by Clinical Education and Training Queensland in collaboration with a number of like minded professionals from across the education and health sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
Clinical Education and Training Queensland has been established by the Queensland Government to lead and facilitate the sustainable, efficient and effective education, training and development of a clinical workforce that will meet the healthcare needs of the people of Queensland. Our mission is to facilitate innovation and collaboration to build capacity and improve quality in clinical education and training in Queensland. We believe this can best be achieved by developing a culture of innovation and collaboration across the health education and health service delivery sectors in Australasia.
Professionals in attendance at the conference will include educators from health services, universities and the vocational education and training sector, students, employers, health service administrators, government policy makers as well as professional bodies from across the medical, nursing and midwifery, allied health and oral health professions.
