Themes
Innovations in Practice
This theme gives nurses an opportunity to highlight the work being done around fresh, sustainable innovations in practice. How nurses have generated creative ideas based on evidence, and taken the idea to an innovation and then applied it to practice.
Partnerships in Practice
There are many forms of partnerships in the health care setting. Themes revolving around team dynamics; connectedness in partnerships, e.g. primary and community; links across the continuum; links between health professionals and technicians, working in dynamic teams with new models of care will be welcomed.
Technology Supporting Future Directions in Practice
Nurses base their knowledge around clinical information and evidence and apply this to their practice. Data, outcome and performance measures will shape the thinking and modelling of health care into the future to continually improve patient outcomes. Efficient health care models rely on ‘point-of-delivery’ data input, sharing of information to reduce duplication leading to improved efficiencies and to maximise patient outcomes. Papers including progressive innovations in technology and research into new ideas in technology which improves practice and standards of patient care across all practice settings will be welcomed.
Abstract format
Presentation can be in the form of oral presentations or poster presentations. Both paper and Poster presentations will be judged during the two days of the conference with prizes awarded at the end of both days.
